RE-IMAGINED PROJECT OF A 1970's SCI-FI FILM, "SOYLENT GREEN"
Time:
New York in the year 2122.
Story:
In this future setting life has become extremely difficult and food is now scarce. Companies like the Soylent Corporation have found alternative food sources but at a cost unbeknownst to the public.

Robert Thorn - Police Detective
William R. Simonson - murdered by a hired assassin

Governor Santini - crooked politician/ties with the mob
Solomon "Sol" Roth - former scholar helps the police investigations in research

Food is now scarce so there's a great need to find alternative food source.
Soylent Green is by far the most successful product.
Early failed experiments were called "soylent blue and soylent red".
As a result of eating these chips the people experienced terrible side effects ultimately mutating into horrible creatures. Eventually becoming dangerous to the public.
These mutations were not tolerated by the government and police are instructed to hunt and kill anyone with these side effects.
